Katie Love

Katie is the Head of Department and a Senior Associate within the Private Client team.

As an affiliate of the Society of Trust and Estates Practitioners and an Accredited Member of The Association of Lifetime Lawyers, Katie acts for individuals on a range of matters and has strong links with other professionals, accountants, and independent financial advisors throughout South Wales. Katie practices in all areas of private client but with a focus on complex estate administration, high net worth estate planning, Court of Protection and trust implementation and management.

Estate Administration

Katie has extensive experience is estate administration with an emphasis on intestacies and complex estates. Katie deals with high value estates and estates consisting of Agricultural and Business assets.

Estate Planning
Acting for individuals in relation to all aspects of estate planning to include bespoke Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and later life planning.

Court of Protection

Advising on and facilitating Deputyship applications to the Court of Protection and the subsequent management thereof; assisting attorneys in relation to ongoing attorney management and discharge of their duties.

Trust implementation and management

Katie advises trustees and beneficiaries in relation to various trusts with a focus on inheritance tax planning and management. Katie works closely with the civil team in advising upon matters relating to trusts and trustee obligations.
