Private Client Solicitor (Wills & Probate) (June 2026)
Experience Level: 3–4 years PQE Location: Cardiff

Our Private Client department is building upon a steady stream of instruction and we are looking for an ambitious, driven Private Client Solicitor or Qualified Legal Executive (3-4 PQE) to step into a pivotal role and help us drive our next phase of growth.
If you are a self-starter who loves running your own show but wants the backing of a supportive, collaborative team, you’ll fit right in.

Managing your own diverse caseload from instruction to completion, including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), Estate Administration, Probate, and Trust management.
-
Providing empathetic, clear, and commercially minded advice to a broad spectrum of private clients.
-
Driving Business Development: Spearheading networking initiatives, building relationships with local intermediaries (accountants, financial advisors), and turning leads into long-term clients.
-
Collaborating with the wider team to identify cross-selling opportunities across the firm.
About You
We are looking for a qualified Solicitor or CILEX professional who has found their stride and is ready for a role with real autonomy.
Ideally, you will have:
-
3–4 years PQE specifically within Private Client law (Wills & Probate focus) with a leading firm.
-
A proven track record of running your own files without close supervision—you know your stuff and trust your judgement.
-
A self-starter mindset—you see an opportunity or a better way of doing things, and you run with it.
-
A genuine passion for business development. You aren’t afraid to network, write a piece for the website or show you have entrepreneurial spirit to grow your practice area.
-
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal jargon in plain English.
What We Offer
We believe in rewarding hard work and entrepreneurial spirit. When you join us, you’ll get:
-
A competitive salary tailored to your experience.
